ASML expands its 2025 sales target for EUV lithography machines in South Korea to 14.75 billion euros
According to ETnews, ASML has raised its sales target for extreme ultraviolet (EUV) lithography machines in South Korea in 2025 to 20 trillion won (about 14.75 billion euros). That's more than double last year's number. This was mainly due to a significant increase in investments from Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix.
AsML's total sales last year were 18.6 billion euros (about 25.22 trillion won). Sales in South Korea were 6.223 billion euros (about 8.43 trillion won) and sales in Taiwan were 7.223 billion euros (about 9.93 trillion won), up 50% and 55% respectively from the previous year.
