GIGABYTE launched a GIGABYTE Titanium 7000S series of SSDs with a speed of up to 7GB/s, equipped with a new generation of PCIe 4.0 control chip, 1TB version 1499 yuan, 2TB version 2699 yuan.
GIGABYTE 7000S series SSD adopts the group PS5018-E18 master controller, built-in 3 ArmCortex-R5 cores, supportSNVMe1.4 protocol, 8-channel design.
The cache uses SK Hynix' DDR4 DRAM cache, numbered H5AN8G6NCJRVKC, with a capacity of 8GB and a width of 6 bits.
In the case of actual testing, the continuous read and write speeds of GIGABYTE Titanium 7000S series SSDs reached 7GB/s and 6.85GB/s, respectively, which is up to 55% faster than the previous generation PCIe 4.0 NVMe solid state and 2 times faster than PCIe 3.0 solid state.
In order to allow GIGABYTE Titanium 7000S series SSDs to maintain low temperatures at high speed operation, GIGABYTE is equipped with a newly designed nano-carbon coated double-sided aluminum heatsink, 7mm high, compatible with all M.2 slots on MB, including the slot under the VGA card.
The upper and lower sides of the SSD are also covered with high thermal conductivity pads. At the same time, the space between the slots is effectively used to maximize the area and height of the heat dissipation fins, so that the heat dissipation surface area is wider, providing a heat dissipation effect that is 30% better than the general thin metal sheet design heat sink.
