Mr. Cao Mingqun, born in 1976 in Cangnan, Zhejiang, is a first-class teacher in middle school, a member of the China Hard Pen Calligraphy Association, a member of the Calligraphy Education Committee of the China Education Association, a senior trainer of Chinese hard pen calligraphy, a director and a member of the evaluation committee of the Wenzhou Hard Pen Calligraphers Association.
Mr. Cao Mingqun was awarded the title of "National Outstanding Young Hard Pen Calligrapher", and he is also a judge of the "Golden Pen Award" National Hard Pen Calligraphy Competition.
Mr. Cao Mingqun's hard pen works have been published in professional newspapers and periodicals such as "Chinese Pen Calligraphy", "Chinese Hard Pen Calligraphy", "Calligraphy Newspaper Hard Pen Calligraphy", "Youth Calligraphy", "Zhejiang Calligraphy" and other professional newspapers and periodicals.
His hard pen calligraphy works won the gold medal of the first national hard pen calligraphy exhibition of "Tonglian Cup", the second prize of the first Chinese character writing festival and the third China hard pen calligraphy exhibition, and the nomination of the second national hard pen calligraphy exhibition of "Xingli Cup".
His monographs were published in the fourth issue of China Hard Pen Calligraphy Magazine in 2009 and the first issue of China Pen Calligraphy Magazine in 2012. It has also won the second national "Top Ten Masters and Top 100", and the nomination of ten masters of the National Hard Pen Calligraphy Exhibition.
