Effective March 1, 2022, Stephen Saxby, Cummins China Chief Technology Officer, was promoted to Vice President of Cummins and became a member of Cummins' Global Executives. Sai Junfeng has played an important role in the company's response to short-term challenges and the transformation of the company's future decarbonization technology route, and he is also a model of leadership, successfully building a diverse and efficient team.

After serving as Vice President of Cummins, Sai Junfeng remains an important member of Cummins' Management Team in China. At the same time, as CTO of China, he will continue to lead the China engineering team and strengthen cooperation with Cummins' global engineering and technical functions.

Sai Junfeng has been with Cummins for 25 years and has been on the front line of promoting product innovation and fulfilling the Cummins brand promise. His career at Cummins began at the Cummins European Technology Centre in Darlington, UK. In 2007, as a key technical expert for Cummins' new light aircraft program, Sai Junfeng came to China, quickly adapting to various roles and taking on additional leadership responsibilities. He is currently responsible for the strategic planning of product technologies, developing a diverse product matrix for different markets, providing engineering support to customers and partners, leading product certification and compliance matters, and driving the process and effectiveness of new product introductions. In addition, he serves as Chairman of Cummins East Asia R&D Center.

Sai Junfeng has a lot of experience in promoting cross-business cooperation in China and how to set the overall strategy. He is deeply involved in and implements the China Product Strategy (FFM) to Meet Market Demand, thus ensuring the successful launch of China's vehicle Products for China's China's Vehicles China IV, China V, China VI, and non-road China III and China IV products, and effectively supporting the development of engines, parts, and power businesses in China. He himself has invested heavily in continuously improving the performance of light, heavy and natural gas engines. In addition, in response to Cummins' new zero-carbon target, he is also focusing on promoting traditional energy technology innovation, hydrogen internal combustion engine technology development, and fuel cell industry chain technical cooperation.

Sai graduated from Northumbria University in 2002 with a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. He holds several U.S. patents and received his MBA from indiana university's Kelley School of Business in 2014.
