On February 18, Nandu reporters learned from the official website of the State Administration for Market Regulation that FAW-Volkswagen Co., Ltd. and Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. announced the recall of some imported Audi and Cayenne series cars.

Among them, FAW-Volkswagen Co., Ltd. announced that from February 25, 2022, it will recall some imported Audi A4 Avant, A4Allroad, A5, A6 Avant, A6Allroad, A7, A8L, Q7, Q8, S4, S5, S6, S7, RS4, RS5, RS6, RS5, RS6, RS7, RS7, RS4, RS7, RSQ8 vehicles manufactured between November 27, 2019 and December 21, 2020, for a total of 7,407 units.
Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will recall from now on some imported 2021 Cayenne series vehicles manufactured between September 16, 2020 and October 31, 2020, for a total of 2,574 vehicles.
According to the official website, this recall activity is a re-recall of the "FAW-Volkswagen Automobile Co., Ltd., Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. Recall Some Imported Cars" issued on May 28, 2021, the reason for the recall is that the vehicles within the scope of this recall did not re-check and adjust the positioning of the rear axle suspension after performing the recall and maintenance of replacing the rear axle tow arm lock nut, and the possibility of deviation in the positioning of the rear axle suspension was not ruled out, which would lead to premature or uneven wear of the tires and the reduction of the adhesion of the tread and the ground. If the tire wears to the limit, it may cause the tire to burst, which will increase the risk of vehicle collision and there is a safety hazard.
FAW-Volkswagen Automobile Co., Ltd. and Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will inspect and adjust the suspension positioning of the rear axle free of charge for vehicles within the scope of the recall, and in addition, check whether the tires are premature or unevenly worn due to incorrect suspension positioning, and replace them if necessary to eliminate safety hazards.
