It is reported that the new library is located in the northwest corner of the intersection of Tiangu 7th Road, Yunshui Road, Silk Road, Xi'an High-tech Zone, with a total construction area of 81,890 square meters, equivalent to 2 times that of the old library, including the reading building, reserve library, professional concert hall, lecture hall, reader service center and underground historical literature library and other functional areas, with a planned collection capacity of 8 million volumes, 4,000 reader seats, and a daily reception capacity of 10,000 readers, which will greatly alleviate the difficult situation of the old library in Shaanxi Province.
