The 2021 China Soong Ching Ling Foundation "Little Cultural Ambassador" Event Award Ceremony was held in Beijing on February 16. Li Bin, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and chairman of the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, attended the event and presented awards to the representatives of the award-winning "Small Cultural Ambassadors".
At the award ceremony, the children of the Soong Ching Ling Peace Angel Art Troupe and the representatives of the winners of the "Little Ambassador of Culture" activity in Beijing performed the "Together to the Future" gesture dance, wishing the Beijing Winter Olympics a complete success and winning warm applause from online and offline guests.
The selection activity of "Little Cultural Ambassadors" is designed and carried out by the China Soong Ching Ling Foundation, together with overseas Chinese cultural centers and relevant cooperative institutions, and jointly invites Chinese and foreign youth to carry out cultural exchanges in an online manner, aiming to strengthen exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, promote people-to-people ties between China and foreign countries, better disseminate Chinese excellent culture and tell Chinese stories. The theme of the 2021 annual event is "Building Dreams for the Winter Olympics, Meet in Beijing", and a total of 209 outstanding works from 209 teenagers from 32 countries were received, of which 100 shortlisted works were selected for online exhibition and voting. The exhibition and broadcast works have received nearly 30 million votes at home and abroad, creating a warm atmosphere for the Beijing Winter Olympics.
