"Tuwo Lao Hua Drum" is a kind of drum culture in Shanxi, which is unique in the rare drum culture in southeastErn Jin, and the inheritance is complete. The "Tuwo Lao Hua Drum" has a history of more than 360 years, from the two generations of the Qing Dynasty to the founding period. The reason why "Tuwo Old Flower Drum" is called old is because Tuwo Old Flower Drum has a long history in Qinshui, and people can't get tired of watching it for a long time, which is very interesting.
"Tu wo lao hua drum" is a set of playing, singing, dancing three parts as one of the dance performance form, the performance team from twenty to fifty people can be, the main roles are the old clown, clown, flower girl, old man, wife, waist drummer, newspaper boy, drum, the main performance footwork is "ququ step", requiring the whole foot to rub the ground, the body twisting left and right, such as the wind swinging willow, gentle and beautiful. The formation of the whole performance is divided into "Double Dragon Out of the Water", "Three Lights", "Twelve Hooks", "Double Dragon Pendulum Tail", "Double Flower Arrangement", "Nine Bends", "Lotus Turn", "Single Stuffy Gourd", "Jujube Shape", "Double Split Head", etc., the most exciting is the "Four Ugly Appearances".

"Tuwo Old Flower Drum" participated in the first Drum Inspiration Invitational Competition in Shanxi Province and won the gold medal. In 1986, it was included in the "Chinese Dance Integration (Shanxi Volume)", and in 2011, it was included in the third batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.
