Sources have told him that if Erlin Haaland leaves Borussia Dortmund next summer to join a new club, he will receive at least £30 million ($41 million) in annual salary, with Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea and Real Madrid all wanting to sign the Norwegian striker.

Haaland, 21, could leave Dortmund at the end of the season, provided the club activates his €75 million ($87 million) liquidated damages clause at Siegel-Iduna Park. Sources have told that Haaland's broker will receive a high commission for the deal.

According to sources, Haaland hopes to get an annual salary of £30 million in the future.

Seniors at interested clubs already know that Haaland wants a contract with a weekly salary of more than £500,000.

Haaland refused to join Manchester United during the 2019-20 winter transfer window in favor of Joining Borussia Dortmund from Salzburg, and despite the potential costs of signing Haaland, he remains a prime target for major Clubs in Europe.

It was reported last month that United have been in contact with the Haaland camp since losing Haaland in January 2020. Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer made his teenage debut for Haaland at Norway's Maude club, and the two have maintained a strong relationship.

But Premier League champions Manchester City, Champions League champions Chelsea and La Liga giants Madrid are also looking to sign Haaland, with sources saying Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich are behind in the race to sign Haaland.

Haaland has scored 70 goals in 69 games since joining Borussia Dortmund two years ago. Before moving to Germany, he made 27 appearances for Salzburg, scoring 29 goals. In September 2019, he scored a hat-trick in his Champions League debut with Belgian Genk.

He also scored 12 goals for Norway in 15 games. If Norway beats Latvia and the Netherlands in the final round of next month's World Cup qualifiers, he could help Norway reach the World Cup final for the first time since 1998.
