After warming up for a long time, on February 16, Redmi officially launched the Redmi K50 series. As a new machine series with a variety of products, it is officially called "K50 Universe".
The first is the K50 esports edition, which is positioned as a performance flagship.
In terms of design, the K50 e-sports version has three colors of shadow (black), silver wing (silver), ice chopper (blue), straight edge middle frame design, rear 16 million color breathing lights, the whole machine thickness of about 8.5mm.
In terms of performance, the K50 esports edition adopts a new generation of flagship Snapdragon 8 SoC, which supports LPDDR5+UFS3.1. In order to cope with the heating of the Snapdragon 8 SoC, the K50 esports version uses dual VC cooling modules. According to the official introduction, this is the largest total heat dissipation area in the industry, in addition, the new machine also has the second generation of graphene, thermal copper block and other heat dissipation design, play "Glory of the King" for 30 minutes to achieve full frame operation, and come to the more performance of the "Original God", half an hour full frame running under the premise of the temperature control of about 43 degrees Celsius.
In terms of screen, the K50 gaming version adopts OLED flexible direct screen, 2400x1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 480Hz touch sampling rate, and is equipped with 1920Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, which has been rated by DisplayMate A+.
It is worth noting that the K50 esports version uses a Cyber Engine X-axis vibration motor, which is officially said to be the largest motor area in Android at present. For games, the K50 esports edition uses a magnetically powered pop-up shoulder button, which can be operated with four fingers in scenarios such as FPS mobile games, and can also be customized for daily use.
In terms of imaging, the K50 esports edition has a rear triple camera, with parameters of 64 million main camera (IMX686), 8 million pixel ultra-wide angle and 2 million pixel macro combination, and the front is 20 million lens (IMX596).
In other aspects, the K50 gaming version uses a 4700mAh battery, 120W charging power, 17 minutes to fully charge, and while playing while charging, the new machine can complete the charging in 37 minutes. In addition, the K50 Esports Edition has four speakers and a dedicated gaming antenna to optimize network communications.
After teaming up with the AMG F1 team, the K50 also launched the "Championship Edition".
The design is inspired by the Mercedes-AMG F1 model, the rear shell is engraved with the Mercedes Star Emblem LOGO, and adopts the exclusive green mid-waist line of the AMG F1 team, in addition, the K50 Championship Edition also has carbon fiber texture + checkered flag pattern track elements.
In terms of price, K50 e-sports version 8+128GB 3299 yuan, 12+128GB 3599 yuan, 12+256GB 3899 yuan; K50 champion version 12+256GB 4199 yuan.
