Madrid, February 13 (China News Network) -- Nearly 2,000 Spanish people gathered in the center of Madrid on the 13th to celebrate the Chinese New Year with a "Year of the Tiger West And Middle Spring Festival Road Run".

At 9:00 a.m. local time on the 13th, the "2022 Year of the Tiger West Central Spring Festival Road Run" started at the whistle of Madrid's famous Castile Avenue, and the organizers of the event specially prepared red uniforms for the runners, adding a touch of "Chinese red" to madrid that was slightly silent on the weekend.

Around the theme of the Year of the Tiger, the overseas Chinese in Madrid celebrated the lion dance before the competition, and the award ceremony was held after the competition, and the winner received a commemorative plaque printed with a small tiger.
