Han Dongjun knew about this project before and was very interested, "even if it is a cameo, he will come."
Han Dongjun as Pinghe, Seven Sharpshooters, No. 280, born in Jiangsu. He was taciturn, cold on the outside and hot on the inside. In the battlefield, there are no false bullets, low-key strength factions, and there are not many harsh words.
The script of "Chosin Lake" has been changed 37 drafts, and the script that Han Dongjun got is already the 20th draft, and it is still being adjusted until it is almost finished. "Never got such a thick movie script!" Han Dongjun, who read the script for the first time, has mixed feelings.
In the film, he plays the sharpshooter Pinghe, the 280th soldier of the Seventh Company. Before playing this role, he went through a lot of materials, and after joining the group, he did some gun training. Wu Jing, an actor in the same group, has a wealth of experience in shooting war films, and he taught Han Dongjun some small skills, such as being able to stare at sharp things, such as bullet tips or knife tips, to practice eye concentration and breathing.
In Han Dongjun's eyes, Pinghe is a relatively quiet person, not very fond of talking, but once he arrives at the battlefield, he is like a leopard, and once he strikes, he is a must-kill skill. During the shooting, the other comrades rushed forward, but he had to find a commanding height in the distance, as a cover, to complete the sniper mission, a bit of a single soldier combat feeling.
The film was filmed in Zhangjiakou, Hebei, close to Beijing, except for the occasional home to get something, nearly 200 days of shooting, Han Dongjun almost from the beginning to the end, the light night scene was filmed for two and a half months, every day at three or four o'clock in the afternoon began to make up makeup, until the next morning at six o'clock dawn, and then with other actors back to the hotel for breakfast, and then make up for sleep.
As a sniper, Pinghe, played by Han Dongjun, is mostly a single soldier.
Han Dongjun, who was born in Harbin, said that in fact, northeasterners are also quite afraid of cold, because northeastern homes have heating, and they can wear three layers outside the three floors when they go out, and they don't feel cold. When filming "Changjin Lake", the minimum temperature in Zhangjiakou was more than -20 degrees Celsius, and many staff members on the scene were almost unable to stay up, cold and tired, but Han Dongjun saw that they were still so passionate, and he was very moved.
In his opinion, no matter how to restore the real environment, in fact, in the crew, the actors are wearing cotton clothes, compared with the volunteer soldiers of the year, it is already very comfortable. "At that time, many volunteer soldiers did not have time to get cotton clothes, they had already entered the Korean war, the weather of more than thirty degrees Celsius below zero wore single clothes, but also often ambushed, basically night battles, many people were frostbitten, even sacrificed, we are insignificant compared with our ancestors."
