On the afternoon of the 11th, in the cross-country skiing men's 15 km traditional technical competition, a total of four athletes from the mainland participated, Hebei athlete Liu Rongsheng won the 47th place with 41 minutes 51 seconds 7, and Shang Jincai, who finished 41st, both broke through the historical best performance of mainland athletes in the Winter Olympics. This is also the best result achieved by Hebei in this project.

On the 12th, Zhao Dan, as the flag bearer of the opening ceremony of the Chinese sports delegation, finished ninth in the women's steel frame snowmobile competition with 4:09.52. Another Chinese player, Li Yuxi, finished fourteenth in 4:10.59, the first time a Chinese athlete competed in a women's steel-framed snowmobile at the Winter Olympics.
