The SS80 is the first toy in the SS regular series to be unpractured, and the packaging style of the box has also changed significantly. Some players say that this is the feature of the spin-off series, I think it is definitely not, the next packaging should be in this form, the outer transmission is not a sub-series of ss, it is just a normal number. The toys of the first five films that will be released this year, such as King Kong, Breaking the Sky, and The Side Road, should also be packaged in this new style.
Of course, this new packaging is smaller than the original same level of packaging, I see that some players are saying that Hasbro has no conscience, this is a bit too much, simplified packaging is indeed environmentally friendly, environmental protection there is nothing to criticize. As long as the contents are OK, the packaging problem is not big. Not to mention that this new packaging is also very good-looking, at most it is not very comfortable with obsessive-compulsive disorder, and it is good to see the new starting point of the SS series.

The picture of the background panel is where the big man fought in the battle of Cybertron at the beginning of the biography, and there is a sense of substitution. Of course, the size of this background board will also be slightly smaller than the previous background board of the same level, which is basically negligible.

The positive image of the big man is highly restored to the movie, and even the specific proportions have also done some beautiful types, which are more handsome than the movie. The color scheme looks very comfortable, and there is a bold Autobot logo on the chest. The side of the zero backpack, tight seams, beads and jade, looks very cool. The large transparent piece on the back is very technological, like the large frontshield used by submarines or spacecraft. The whole circle looks like there is no stealing glue, very solid.
The head carving painting is simply amazing, the official head carving skill is still deep, of course, the data is also a great advantage.
This head sculpture pays a very obvious tribute to the G1 man, and has a more realistic metallic texture, much like Marvel's red tank. The hair color of this piece of plastic is very beautiful, the gloss is great, and the bright silver hook edge also greatly improves the layering of the helmet.
I got my hand and this big man joint was tight, it was pretty good. The mobility is relatively good, there is waist rotation, there is grounding, the place where it can move can be moved, and there is a bent joint where the waist and chest are connected, and the overall feel is very satisfactory, much better than the relatively loose flying over the mountain and bumblebee of the previous external transmission d level.

The shoulder joint of the big man is also designed with a flat rotation, although it will be interfered with by the design of the shoulder armor, but it can also rotate a certain angle to the chest, so that the big man's arm is moved to the chest, which can also be used when swinging the gun behind.
Since it comes to raising a gun, let's take a look at the main weapon of the big man, a big gun, which is very much in line with the tough guy design of the big man.
It is easy to restore the gun holding scene of the big man in the movie, that is, although the details of this gun are accurate, the size has still made some exaggeration, slightly larger, but the collage comparison chart comes out, or you can see a pleasing restoration.

In human form, this big gun can be stored in the back, but it is only an option, the pile is too small and not tight, it is not recommended, anyway, it is very good to take it.
The big man also has a weapon that is an electric drill, which is added to the vehicle form designed for the toy, rounding it up to the original accessory of the toy, which is not available in the movie. Of course, in the form of the vehicle, this accessory is a tribute to the G1, and it will be said that the vehicle form will be mentioned. In short, this weapon is slightly far-fetched to hold directly in the hand, but it is not ugly.
The effect of dual-wielding is domineering.
In addition, this drill can also be mounted on the muzzle of a large gun to form an extra-long weapon. Of course, this means that the muzzle is a 5mm universal interface, and in principle any universal pile weapon can be installed.

This ratio looks very comfortable and the style is also very suitable. It can be seen that the size of the big man's gun and the Optimus Prime are not much different, but the body shape is very different.
In order to achieve this ratio, the big han is very short in the reinforcement level, of course, as early as the G1 era, the size of the big han is relatively small. So how small is this enhanced big man? A little shorter than the rumored Bumblebee & Fly Over the Mountain.
Since ss flying over the mountain is also representative of the small D level, we should look at how big the normal booster level is. It just so happens that the role of Dahan has also produced a mold in the enhancement level of 09 Movie 2, which I personally have a high evaluation and can be given priority when the film party collects the old mold. Let's take a look at what it's like for these two generations of movie men to stand together.
This height difference is very ok.
Of course, if you are inferior to this height difference, you can also find a toy to take a group photo. In the Boy Scout class of 09 Movie 2, there is a toy called "Fire Trap", which is a repaint of the same level of machine guns, and the color is exactly the same as that of the big man, and many players regard it as the movie version of the big man.
You see, it's still a little higher than the Boy Scout rank. Many players always shout that the SS enhancement level is so small that it is approaching the legendary level, which is obviously not objective. Because the Scout level is much higher than the Legendary level, the current SS smallest enhancement level is still higher than the Cub Scout level, which shows that it is still far from the Legendary level. Of course, the problem of being too small is indeed not good, but after all, people say it very clearly, just to make up the proportions, I believe that this year's second wave of reinforced ambulances will be a big reinforcement level, so there is no need to stick to the size problem.

The deformation of the big man is very clever, especially the leg deformation is a must, who plays who knows, the feel is very good, the seams are tight, and the trolley pushes the old far. Of course, this vehicle is basically designed for the toy, so the reduction is the right thing to do, and Texas chicken steak like Sonic is outrageous (there will also be an issue of Sonic & Robot Dog's Unbox sharing in the near future).
The sci-fi sense of this vehicle is very good, which is very in line with my expectations of alien ground transportation, take a look at the multi-angle map.
The whole large transparent piece is really beautiful, and the front has an air intake grille design. The only fly in the ointment may be that the rear of the roof is exposed, but it is also acceptable.
In terms of weapon storage, the big gun can be stored on the roof of the car, which also fills the hole.
The really interesting accessory is the drill bit just mentioned, which needs to be placed at the bottom of the front of the car, and then flipped forward to form a head drill, which looks like some kind of mountain-breaking machine.
Why design such a drill? This is actually a tribute to the G1. In the prototype story of "Transformers 3: Dark Time of the Moon", "Disaster of the Top", that is, the S01E11 of the G1 animation, there is a scene of the big man's car head sticking out the drill. There is no doubt that this design of the great Han vehicle is a reference to this design in the animation. This small drill bit suddenly drilled through the dimensional wall between G1 and the movie, becoming a very affectionate little Easter egg.
