Shaanxi is the political center of the history of the mainland, there are many emperors here to establish an empire, and then due to the change of dynasties many cultural relics are buried in Shaanxi, so far a large number of cultural relics have been excavated by the museum collection, today to say that the Tiliang silver jar. In the 1970s, more than 1,000 ancient cultural relics left over from the Tang Dynasty, two large urns and a small silver jar of Tiliang, were discovered in Hejia Village, Xi'an, due to local workers' construction.
These treasures are Liu Zhen, who was responsible for managing the treasures in the palace during the Tang Dynasty, because of the Jingyuan soldiers, he buried most of the treasures in the palace in the ground, and then he was killed by the emperor after surrendering to the enemy army for fear of death, and then the treasures were no longer known, until the experts found that they could see the light of day, and these treasures caused everyone to be surprised after they were unearthed, including a large number of Coins, Aromatherapy, Rhino Horn Cups and other Tang Dynasty treasures, and even several of the antiquities have become the country's special national treasures, collected in museums.
The most eye-catching thing is the small silver jar next to it, which is different from the other two urns and is placed separately. After carefully opening the lid on it, the expert saw a scene of great shock, and the expert could not explain the principle. According to experts, there is half a jar of clear water in the jar but a sheet of gold leaf floating on the surface of the water, and the most strange thing is why this gold leaf floats on the surface of the water. The gold leaf is made of gold, and there are twelve dragons on the gold leaf, each dragon is about four centimeters long and about two centimeters high, and the weight of each dragon is about thirty grams, and there is also a weight of half a kilogram floating on the water, which can't help but make experts wonder.
In later studies, experts found that these dragon walkers were all Daoist monks in the Tang Dynasty who prayed for the blessing of the gods, and the dragon throwing ceremony was a required prop, and suspected that perhaps the Taoist priests cast spells, and we guessed that the liquid in the jar was not water, but a clear liquid like mercury, or like a magic trick now, it was just a kind of blindfold method used by the Taoists at that time.
In any case, these are just speculations, and now this cultural relic has become a treasure in the Shaanxi Museum, and I look forward to everyone being able to visit and expound their views.
