The Division: Heartlands game content leak: There are two game modes

Tom Henderson exclusively broke the news on Xfire about some of the game content of Ubisoft's new free game", The Division: Heartland.

The game will have two modes, one is the PPVE mode, named "Storm", and the other is the PVE mode, named "Excursion".

Some sources have likened the "Excursion" mode to a tutorial in "Storm" mode, where players can play with two teammates to familiarize themselves with the map by scavenging, looting, exploring, and fighting enemy AI in the game's huge map called "Silver Creek."

The main gameplay of Centerland is the PPVE mode "Storm", which is similar to the mode of games such as Escape from Tarkov, which is designed to survive, plunder, and bring resources from Silver Creek back to your base of operations (BOO).

Silver Creek

It's a large open world with plenty of opportunities to find rare loot, but the game's poison gas spreads from random locations instead of shrinking from the edges of the map as we're familiar with in battle royale games.

Players need to survive the gas by finding and crafting gas masks, which will prevent the player from falling into a "DBNO state", a complex term for a state that will be killed with one hit.

The loot in the game still follows the rarity distinctions we used to know as gray, green, blue, purple, and gold.

Strategic Lands Beacons (SHDs) are spread across the map, allowing players to spend resources on various upgrades, as well as virus detection, virus removal, purchase supplies, and more.

Base of Operations (BOO)

The central hub of the player's action, which is located in an abandoned ice rink. Here players can customize equipment, match the lobby, loot supplies, buy upgrades, modules and other weapons.

Here players can also enable Projects, which is a daily and weekly mission for Heartland. Completing these projects earns additional resources and XP points.

Roles and classes

There are currently 6 separate characters to choose from, 3 male and 3 female, with no distinction other than the table.

After selecting a character, the player picks one of three different classes. They are "Weapon Expert", "Medic" and "Survivalist", of course, they each have their own characteristics and abilities.

The game doesn't have an official release date at this time, but according to Tom Henderson sources, the game is well developed and is in much better shape than the recently leaked tom Clancy.
