Beijing: A list of industrial relics of Shougang for the Beijing Winter Olympics is being drawn up

On February 13, 2022, the Beijing News Center held a special press conference on the protection of Beijing's history and culture. Li Xianxia, deputy mayor of Shijingshan District of Beijing, introduced that with the wonderful victory of Chinese athlete Gu Ailing in the Shougang Ski Jump, Shougang Park was promoted to a world-class "net red land". Taking the Beijing Winter Olympics as an opportunity, Shijingshan District is prospectively planning the post-game utilization of the big jump platform, the Winter Olympic Organizing Committee and the "Four Blocks of Ice", giving it sports and leisure blocks, snowboard and aerial skills research and development centers and winter sports display functions.

In addition, it is formulating a list of industrial relics protection of Shougang at the Beijing Winter Olympics, studying the reuse model and scheme of industrial heritage, cultivating the "sports +" industry ecology, and focusing on the development of sports trade, sports exhibitions, recreation and leisure, cultural performances, sports tourism and other diversified formats.
