Xiaopeng Motors expanded into Europe, opening its first overseas direct store in Sweden

Xiaopeng Motors is accelerating its expansion into the European market.

Recently, Xiaopeng Motors reached a strategic cooperation agreement with emil Frey NV Group in the Netherlands and Bilia Group in Sweden, which aims to promote the rapid introduction of Xiaopeng Motors into the local area, support the acceleration of energy conservation and emission reduction, promote the process of electrification and accelerate the layout of the European market.

At the same time, Xiaopeng Motors' first direct-operated experience store in Europe was officially opened in Stockholm, Sweden, on February 11. This is Xiaopeng's first expansion in the European market after landing in Norway in 2020.

It is understood that Xiaopeng Automobile will adopt a business model that combines direct-operated stores with agents. With the official opening of the Direct Experience Store in Sweden, the Direct Experience Store in the Netherlands, Denmark and Norway will also be completed.

Xiaopeng Motors has chosen local leading dealer groups such as Emil Frey NV Group in the Netherlands and Bilia Group in Sweden as strategic partners to create unified price transparency and full life cycle integration services in the European market.

In order to accelerate its expansion in the European market, Xiaopeng Motors has set up its European headquarters in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, in early February 2021, and offices in Denmark, Germany, Norway and Sweden.

Driven by high-intensity policies, Norway has the highest penetration of electric vehicles in Europe: in January 2022, Norwegian electric vehicle sales accounted for 90.5% of total vehicle sales. Among the friends, BYD and NIO have entered the European market.

Xiaopeng Motors took the lead in completing a fully closed-loop overseas operation experience in Norway, such as sales, delivery and service.

In the past year, it is located in the Norwegian market and delivered a total of 438 new vehicles. Among them, the G3 sold a total of 406 units, and the P7, which began delivery in October, sold a total of 32 units.
