Recently, Shanghai Jing'an Sculpture Park Art Center ushered in the "New Year - 2022 Spring Festival Exhibition of Famous Artists in the Year of the Tiger", which gathered 18 representative artists of the Shanghai School and outstanding teachers of the School of Fine Arts of Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts to exhibit nearly 40 works. The beauty and hope of the art presented in the exhibition hall echo with the grass and trees in the park outside the exhibition hall that are about to reveal new shoots, bringing pleasing "spring news" to the general public.

Liu Guosong, Chen Jialing, Yang Zhengxin, Wang Jieyin, Zhang Leiping, Ma Xiaojuan, He Xi, Graphite and other participating artists are all representative artists of the Shanghai School, forming their own recognizable artistic styles. The works they brought this time include contemporary ink painting, oil painting, sculpture and installation art, with distinct themes, innovative highlights and different styles, fully demonstrating the artists' artistic creations nourished by Haipai culture. This is also a concentrated display of the outstanding teachers' works of the Academy of Fine Arts of Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts in 2022.

The location of the first exhibition is Jing'an Sculpture Park, which is based on the project cooperation between Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts and Shanghai Jing'an District Greening and City Appearance Administration Bureau "Public Visual Improvement Project", and jointly helps Shanghai to improve its soft power and deepen the construction of an international cultural metropolis with world influence in the new era of socialism. Among them, Jing'an District, as the core and strong area of cultural resources that has taken the lead in building a modern public cultural service system, has formed a "Jing'an sample" with distinctive characteristics. Through a long-term strategic partnership, the Jing'an District Greening and CityScape Administration and the Shanghai Institute of Visual Arts have formed a long-term strategic partnership to create the "Public Visual Enhancement Project", focusing on the sculpture park platform and the greening of the streets and public art spaces in the whole district, in accordance with the standards of the core area of the international metropolis, and through the realization of the overall visual function improvement, landscape improvement and atmosphere improvement of Jing'an District, the regional cultural industry agglomeration is promoted.
