Beijing News Shell Financial News (reporter Wang Linlin) On February 11, the Beijing News Shell Financial Reporter officially learned from the China Automobile Circulation Association that the annual second-hand car trading volume in 2021 was 17.5851 million units, an increase of 22.62% over the same period last year; the annual second-hand car trading volume affected by the epidemic in the same period of 2020 was 14.34 million, referring to the data of the same period in 2019, the second-hand car trading volume last year increased by 17.84% compared with the same period in 2019.

According to the analysis of the China Automobile Dealers Association, overall, the proportion of transaction volume in the first quarter of 2021 affected by factors such as the Spring Festival holiday was the smallest; the second and third quarters of the second-hand car trading volume was relatively stable, and the proportion was basically flat; in the fourth quarter, affected by unfavorable factors such as the spread of the epidemic, the proportion of second-hand car trading volume fell significantly compared with the previous two years, but it was still the high point of the whole year. From the perspective of the whole year, the low base effect brought about by the epidemic has gradually weakened.

In addition, the survey of the China Automobile Circulation Association shows that with the gradual elimination of barriers to the circulation of second-hand cars in various regions of the country, the free circulation of used cars in the country is becoming faster and faster, which is a positive factor that has prompted domestic second-hand car transactions to increase year by year in the past 10 years; from the perspective of inventory cycle, the overall inventory cycle in January 2022 is 45 days, which is slightly higher than the 43 days in December 2021.
