Well-known whistleblower and insider Tom Henderson tweeted today (Feb. 11) that Call of Duty: Warzone 2 will be announced tomorrow (Feb. 12) and will eventually be released with Call of Duty 19.
According to Tom Henderson, the Call of Duty: Warzone 2 game will skip PS4 and Xbox One and release only for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, and he said in a recent tweet that it will also allow the game to have a 120-frame option at launch.
Tom Henderson also said that Call of Duty: Warzone 2 was "built from scratch," which had to happen due to development issues with the first game, and that Tom Henderson's friends told him the problem stemmed from the call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War integration.
As for when the game will be released, according to Tom Henderson, Activision said call of duty: Warzone 2 will be released alongside the new Call of Duty game (purportedly titled Modern Warfare 2) developed by IW.
Earlier this month, IW Studios confirmed that they were working on a new title for the Call of Duty series, but did not say when it would be released.
