A few days ago, with the approval of the Langzhong Municipal CPC Committee, the Langzhong Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and Supervision conducted a case review and investigation into Chai Yong, former chairman and general manager of Sichuan Langzhong Mingcheng Operation and Investment Co., Ltd., for serious violations of discipline and law.
After investigation, Chai Yong lost his ideals and convictions, had a weak sense of discipline and law, was disloyal and dishonest to the party, colluded with others to resist organizational examination, and participated in superstitious activities; violated the spirit of the eight central regulations, wantonly accepted gifts and gifts that might affect the fair performance of official duties, and indiscriminately issued subsidies in violation of the law; illegally embezzled company funds and spent in violation of regulations; took advantage of his position to collude with others to embezzle public property, which was a relatively large amount; and sought benefits for others in project contracting and enterprise operations, and illegally accepted property, the amount of which was particularly huge.
Chai Yong seriously violated the party's political discipline and honest discipline, constituted a violation of the law and was suspected of embezzlement and bribery, and did not restrain or accept after the Eighteenth National Congress of the Party, which was serious in nature and had a bad impact, and should be dealt with severely. In accordance with the "Regulations on Disciplinary Punishment of the Communist Party of China," the "Supervision Law of the People's Republic of China," the "Law of the People's Republic of China on The Punishment of Public Employees in Government Affairs," and other relevant provisions, upon study by the Standing Committee of the Langzhong Municipal Commission for Discipline Inspection and reporting to the Langzhong Municipal CPC Committee for approval, it was decided to give Chai Yong the punishment of expulsion from the party; the Langzhong Municipal Supervision Commission would give him the punishment of dismissal from public office; confiscate his gains from violating discipline and law; and transfer his suspected crimes to the procuratorial organs for examination and prosecution according to law, and the property involved would be transferred together.
