Nie Zheng (?) –397 BC), a warrior of the Warring States period, a native of The Korean Dynasty (present-day southeast of Jiyuan, Henan), known as Renxia, was one of the Four Assassins of the Spring and Autumn Warring States
Nie Zhengben was a Korean during the Warring States period, and because of the murder to avoid crime, he fled to the country of Qi with his old mother and sister and slaughtered dogs and sold meat in the market. Adoptive mother.
The Korean physician Yan Zhongzi absconded to Puyang because of his vendetta against the Korean minister Han Golem (字: 夏 Tired). Resentful of Han Golem for forcing him to leave his hometown, he searched around for the warriors, hoping to help him assassinate Xia Tired. I heard that Nie Zheng was a chivalrous man and personally visited him. Yan Zhongzi traveled back and forth several times and became friends with Nie Zheng, but did not mention the assassination. On the occasion of Nie Zheng's mother's birthday, Yan Zhongzi gave a hundred gifts to wish Nie Zheng a happy birthday, but Nie Zheng refused to accept it. Although he knew that Yan Zhongzi should have asked for something, he did not show anything. There are no details recorded in the historical records, but Nie Zheng should not have a good attitude.
Later, Nie's mother died, and Nie Zheng kept filial piety three years later. He said to his friend: I am only a common people slaughtering dogs, and Yan Zhongzi is the secretary of the scholar. Yan Zhongzi, because he wanted to avenge his grievances, was close to such a lowly person as me, and gave his mother a hundred gold to wish for a happy birthday, although I did not accept it. But we can't just ignore it. In the past, I did not want to obey orders because the old mother was in the church, and now my mother has enjoyed all the years, and it is time for me to repay Yan Zhongzi.
So he met Yan Zhongzi, and Yan Zhongzi explained the reason. Nie Zheng refused to allow Yan Zhongzi to send someone to help, and single-handedly entered Korea. Han Golem is the uncle of the Korean monarch and has many guards. Nie Zheng's sword went straight into the Mansion of the Han Puppet and assassinated Xia Ti above the lobby. The guards besieged Nie Zheng, and Nie Zheng killed dozens of people, but he could not get out. He peeled off his own skin, gouge out his eyes, and picked out his own intestines, committing suicide and dying.
South Koreans put Nie Zheng's corpse in the city, paid for it, and did not know who he was. So the Koreans issued a notice to offer a reward, and those who could say that they had killed the Minister of State, Han Golem, were rewarded with thousands of dollars.
Nie Zheng's sister Nie Ying (Yi Shu Rong) heard that someone had assassinated the prime minister of South Korea, but she did not know who the murderer really was, and the people of korea did not know his name, displayed his body, offered a reward of thousands of dollars, let people identify, sobbed and said: "Probably my brother, right?" So he immediately left for the capital of South Korea, and came to the street market, and the deceased was indeed Nie Zheng, who was lying on the corpse and weeping bitterly, extremely sad, saying: "This is Nie Zheng in the deep well." ”
The bystander advised, "This is the murderer who stabbed Han Xiang, and the king of Han is offering a reward of thousands of dollars for his name, and his relatives may not be able to escape heavy punishment." If you don't dodge, how dare you identify it?" Nie Yan replied, "The reason why Nie Zheng suffered humiliation and was hidden among the city vendors was because the old mother was in the church and I had not yet married." Yan Zhongzi knew that my brother Nie Zheng was among the butchers, and he bent down to make friends, how could this deep understanding of the grace not be repaid! A soldier died for a confidant, and Nie Zheng destroyed his own body only because of me, so as not to be recognized and implicated in me. But how can I be afraid of being implicated and letting Nie Zheng's name be buried!" Shout out three times "Heavens." Died next to Nie Zheng.
Later generations sang many songs to Nie Zheng's sisters and brothers.

There is another version of the object of Nie Zheng's assassination, which is recorded in the Taiping Imperial Records volume 578 quoted in the Great Zhou Zhengle: "Nie Zheng's father ruled the sword for the king of Han, but it was not outdated, and the king of Han killed him." When shizheng was not born, he asked his mother, 'Where is the Father?' 'Mother told him.' The government wants to kill the king of Han, but he learns to do it, enters the palace, draws his sword and stabs the king of Han, and leaves. The government went over the wall, into the Taishan Mountains, met the immortals, and learned the drum and piano. The lacquer body is strong, swallowing charcoal to change its tone, and seven years and the piano is formed. ...... Under the political drum and piano, the spectators marched, and the horses and cattle stopped listening to hear the King of Han. The king summoned the government to see him and made him play the piano. The government is to support the piano and drum, and the inner knife is in the piano. Zheng then held his clothes in his left hand and stabbed the king of Han with his right hand and killed him. It is said that Nie Zheng's song is "Guangling San".
