The first time I ate tangyuan was after joining the army, the first Lantern Festival I had in the army. In the first year of serving as a soldier, the troops marched to the foot of Daba Mountain in Xixiang County, Shaanxi Province. The company of recruits who participated in the military training was stationed in the middle of the Daba Mountain. It is a beautiful place with charming scenery, called the beauty of mountains and rivers. All year round all over the mountains a lush cabbage, carrots, coriander, spinach, green onions, garlic seedlings are at your fingertips, layers of terraces, all kinds of vegetables grow happily, there are mountain springs flowing into the river under the mountain, more than one meter deep, clear dam, fish swimming in the river, people see clearly, this river is about 200 meters wide, about 30 kilometers long, it is surrounded by mountains, just like the Tianchi in Xinjiang, let people linger, clear water and blue sky, charming scenery, unforgettable.

Stationed on the shore of such a beautiful mountain, Qinling, the mood is very happy, especially in the life and study of the army' university, I feel very happy. Yes, after the first Lantern Festival in the army, I was able to eat the sweet tangyuan made of sesame sugar, raisins and walnuts for the first time, and I felt deeply happy and happy! Because before becoming a soldier, I had never eaten tangyuan in my hometown. Eating tangyuan during the Lantern Festival is only to hear others say it, but I have never eaten it, and I don't know what tangyuan is like and what it tastes like? Don't dare to think extravagantly. Before enlisting in the army, I ate ground claws, carrots, pumpkins, etc. in my hometown, and I never saw what tangyuan looked like. There is no lie here, because we were still eating sweet potatoes and pickle knots, and we had not yet taken off the hat of poverty and backwardness.

On the night of the Lantern Festival, our squad leader repeatedly told us, no, it should be said that it was a reminder, he reminded us that tangyuan is made of glutinous rice noodles, sticky face, white sugar are not easy to digest, eat less is better. Although the squad leader repeatedly reminded us to eat less, most of our recruits still ate. Because I had never eaten such a sweet and delicious good thing before enlisting in the army, it was particularly tempting to eat. Everyone did not keep their mouths when they ate, one bowl, two bowls, three bowls, both relaxed and beautiful to eat. In the second half of the night, several comrades-in-arms could not sleep by Tang Yuan, and secretly ran in the courtyard. Heaven blessed, after running in the middle of the night to help digestion, in order to solve the problem of stomach growth, now several comrades in arms recall, still feel quite embarrassed.

If you think about it carefully today, there is nothing to be embarrassed about, and it can be understood as: first, the living conditions in my hometown were poor, materials were scarce, and tangyuan was scarce; second, because I had not eaten tangyuan and did not know that it was difficult to digest; third, because tangyuan was too delicious, and the temptation was too great for poor and backward rural children, and I did not grasp my greed for tangyuan. Today, when the country is rich and the people are strong, it is impossible for such a ridiculous thing to happen again, and such a low-level mistake can be completely eliminated. Today, the material life of the people on the mainland has undergone earth-shaking and gratifying changes, so what is the tangyuan stuffed with small sesame seeds and white sugar? It is already an ordinary food in people's daily lives, and the days of being supported by TangYuan's landless self-tolerance are gone.

"The fireworks in the world are the most soothing to the hearts of mortals." Time passes, and the years change. With the great improvement of people's living conditions, eating tangyuan, big fish and meat during the Lantern Festival, and even mountain treasures and seafood is no longer a luxury. The rich meal emits a fragrant smell, and every family is happy and harmonious.
