About the Author
Chen Hongsen, born in 1950, a native of Kaohsiung, Taiwan, graduated from the Department of Chinese of National Taiwan University. In 1982, he entered the Institute of History and Linguistics of the "Academia Sinica" and successively served as an assistant researcher, associate researcher, researcher, and professor at Sun Yat-sen University and National Cheng Kung University in Taiwan. He retired from the Academia Sinica in 2018 and is now an adjunct researcher at the Institute of History and Linguistics. His main research areas are the history of Chinese classics, the academic history of the Qing Dynasty, and classical philology. He is the author of "Examination of the Academic History of the Qing Dynasty", "Study of Han and Tang Classics", "Study of Qing Dynasty Classics", "Compilation of Qianjia Mingsu Chronology", and "Collection of Xizhuang Testaments", "Collection of Qianyantang Relics", "Collection of Relics of the Scripture Room", and "Collection of Qianjia Qunxian's Remains". He is also the author of four kinds of modern poetry collections, including "Chen Hongsen Poetry".
