Yu Bing, the overall champion of the first season of the "Chinese Music Ceremony" and a pipa player of the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra, will join eight artist friends to bring a unique concert on the eve of the Lantern Festival.
With the authentic Chinese national instruments such as pipa, si na and ruan, and the contrast and blending of Western instruments such as violin and piano, with exquisite creation and arrangement, the different music genres of classical and modern, Chinese and Western styles penetrate and integrate with each other, bringing cross-border music with world style. Born in a musical family, he learned to play the piano at the age of six, and studied under He Shufeng, He Shuying, Dong Ya, Zhang Zupei and Zhou Lijuan. In 1998, he joined the Shanghai Chinese Orchestra and became the principal of the Pipa Department. He has a solid foundation in playing, rich in emotion, and his personal style is very infectious. In recent years, we have the courage to try cross-border cooperation to promote pipa skills and traditional Chinese culture and art. In 2017, he was commissioned by the 19th China Shanghai International Arts Festival "Support young artists program" with the musical theater "Bawang". In 2018, he led the "Source of the Moon" Orchestra to participate in the first "Chinese Music Ceremony" sponsored by Guangdong Satellite TV, and surpassed many outstanding orchestras as a supplementary player, winning the championship in one fell swoop.

Following the three-time podium of Daning Theater in 2021, in 2022, the Shanghai Philharmonic Association Chamber Orchestra will carry out in-depth cooperation with Daning Theater's public welfare performance brand - "Daning Art Source".
With the theme of presenting music that is close to the people and popularized, the orchestra will bring four public welfare concerts with different theme styles: "Rhyme of the East", "Soul of the Nation", "British Style" and "France Meets Apennines".
