At present, the criminal suspect in this case, "Master" Tang Moumou, has been approved for arrest by the South Bank District People's Procuratorate.
The "master" was arrested
In May 2020, the South Bank District Public Security Bureau received a report from a staff member of a well-known liquor company, saying that someone in a restaurant in the jurisdiction was selling liquor counterfeiting its corporate brand. After receiving the relevant reports, the substation intensive food and drug ring detachment and the Longmenhao police station had superior police forces and immediately launched an investigative operation.

Finally, the investigation of the case ushered in a turning point. In April 2021, the police had a clue that the suspect sold counterfeit "old wine" to Zhang Mou, a Tongnan person, at a price of 200,000 yuan. The special case team immediately took action, acting simultaneously in the two directions of Tongnan and Chongqing South Bank, controlling the suspects on the spot and seizing a large number of counterfeit "old wines". Upon review, a bizarre experience of tofu lang transforming into a collector and Buddhist "master" who is "good at" collecting and "good at" curing diseases gradually surfaces.
"Master" past life
The victim's real name is Tang Moumou, whose real name is Tang Moumou, who was born in Chongqing in the late 1960s and has been selling tofu in Chongqing for a living in the early years. In the 21st century, under the influence of the wave of China's real estate boom, Tang Moumou began to change his career to the building materials business and earned the first bucket of gold in his life.

In order to make friends with the rich in the collection industry, Tang Moumou often walked in Chongqing and even all over the country to display his treasures, boasting that there were 2 billion yuan worth of night pearls, tea leaves during the Qianlong period and the dragon bed of the Qing Dynasty royal family, as well as calligraphy works from the so-called Qin Shi Huang period and the Three Kingdoms period. After a series of operations, Tang Moumou soon became famous in the Chongqing collection industry and accumulated a large number of connections.
"Master" Nirvana

He even communicated privately with patients, inducing them to present them with pennants boasting of "superb" medical skills. In this way, Tang Moumou built himself into a collector and Buddhist "master" who was "good at collecting" and "good at" curing diseases according to the plan, and purposefully recruited as many as 200 rich believers across the country, and the "master" achieved nirvana in the predicament.
Tang Moumou, who spent several years painstakingly managing his identity, finally did not want to hide his true face of not deceiving people, and under the cover of the double aura of collectors and Buddhist masters, he began to gradually sell inferior liquor purchased at a low price as old wine to others.
"Master" its business
After interrogation, Tang Moumou explained his criminal history in detail. At the end of 2016, Tang Moumou met Mr. and Mrs. Zhang mou who set up a stall in an antique market in Chongqing, and after learning that the couple had old wine with counterfeit registered trademarks in their hands, they bought the so-called 1952 Moutai wine, 1983 Moutai wine, 1995 Wuliangye wine and other counterfeit old wines from them at a price of 50 yuan. Tang Moumou knew that it was a criminal act to sell the "famous wine" in his hand to others, so under the guise of a collector, he used his hidden means to sell the "famous wine" in the process of interacting with the rich people in the collection industry. At the dinner table, he declared that he had a relationship with someone, and "unconsciously" "tasted" these counterfeit well-known brands of old wine with others. When others paid the bill after the meal, Tang Moumou did not say the specific price of the old wine, only talked about having a relationship with others, and guided the victim to pay for the wine.
At the end of 2019, Tang Moumou was no longer satisfied with the way to make money by selling and selling hiddenly at the dinner table, and began to plan to "make a lot of money". In January 2020, he bought more than 4,000 bottles of "old wine" from Mr. and Mrs. Zhang in the antique market at an average price of 50 yuan and shipped them to Hefei, Anhui Province, to be sold covertly with the help of his local disciples. Unexpectedly, the goods just arrived in Hefei and were all seized by the local market supervision department during the routine inspection process.
The strict investigation and punishment of the law enforcement departments did not "extinguish" his "belief" in making a lot of money. In June 2020, Tang Tingfu once again purchased more than 4,000 bottles of "old wine" from Mr. and Mrs. Zhang. In order to circumvent the inspection of law enforcement, he installed curtains in the room where the "old wine" was stored, and the entry and exit were strictly controlled, and no one but himself could enter. The "Master" appears
On April 14, 2021, after obtaining the clue that Tang had sold some of the "old wine" hidden in the rental house to a victim in Tongnan for 200,000 yuan, the police immediately took action and conducted a surprise search of the house rented by Tang.
At the scene of the case, the police also saw the masses who came to seek medical treatment and medicine with the old and the young. Seeing the police who broke through the door, they suddenly realized. In the face of the boxes of stolen goods of the police, the so-called "master" did not show the slightest panic, confidently paced in the square, and "appreciated" the search and seizure of the police as if nothing had happened.
In the ensuing interrogation, when it was learned that the police had already mastered his criminal act of pretending to be a so-called "master" to sell fakes, the indispensable "master" panicked and confessed his criminal behavior.
What surprised the police was that this tofu lang who was mixed with high society as a "master" could not even write, and the "master" finally removed the last trace of mysterious disguise and completely appeared.
The South Bank police also reminded the general public that the disguise method of the suspect Tang Moumou in this case is actually very low-level, and there are many loopholes in his claims such as calligraphy during the Qin Shi Huang period, tea leaves during the Qianlong period, and night pearls worth 2 billion yuan, which obviously violate the common sense of nature and humanities, as long as a little discrimination, you can identify his fake identity, and then avoid drilling into the fake trap laid by the suspect.
