The Central Meteorological Observatory predicts that following the obvious rain and snow weather process in southern China and the eastern part of the northwest region from the 5th to the 7th, a new round of large-scale rain and snow weather process from the 11th to the 13th will affect most of China from west to east, and the process has the characteristics of a wide range of snowfall and a large cumulative snowfall in some areas.

In terms of precipitation, in the next three days, there will be small to moderate snow or sleet in northern Xinjiang, the central and eastern parts of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, the eastern part of the northwest region, the central and eastern parts of Inner Mongolia, most of North China, and most of the northeast region, among which there will be heavy snow and local heavy snowfall in Beijing, Tianjin, north-central Hebei, northern Shanxi, the southern-central region of Inner Mongolia and the Ili River Valley in Xinjiang; the cumulative snowfall will be 4 mm to 8 mm, and the local area can reach 10 mm to 15 mm; the new snow depth is 5 cm to 10 cm, and the local snow depth can reach 12 cm to 16 cm. There is sleet in the north-central part of Guizhou and western Hunan, and there is local freezing rain, and there is heavy to heavy snow in high-altitude mountainous areas; there is moderate to heavy rain in Jiangnan, southern China and southern Guizhou, and heavy rain (50 mm to 80 mm) in northern Guangxi and other places.

Recently, the precipitation in southern China has been continuous, and it has continued to be wet and cold, and the maximum temperature in Jiangnan and other places this week is generally less than 10 °C, and the temperature in many places is even around 5 °C. Different from the south, the north has sunny weather in recent days, but affected by a new round of rain and snow weather, it is expected that the temperature in many places in the north will fluctuate sharply in the next few days, and the cumulative cooling range will exceed 10 °C, for example, the maximum temperature in Shenyang on the 10th is 7 °C, but it will drop to -5 °C on the 15th, with a cumulative drop of 12 °C.

In addition, it is expected that from the 14th to the 15th, there will still be light snow in the central and eastern parts of Inner Mongolia, north China, northeast China and other places, and local snow. From the 17th to the 18th, there will be a wide range of rain and snow weather processes in the central and eastern regions of China from west to east.

Meteorological experts remind that since February, the southern region has continued to be low temperature, rain and sunshine, the body feels wet and cold, and in mid-February, there will be more snow in the northern region, and the temperature will continue to decline.
