At about 18:15 on January 30, 2022, the police on duty of the Accident Section of the Linqing Traffic Police Brigade received an order from the command center, saying, "A traffic accident occurred in front of a supermarket in Yandian Town, Yongguan Road, a pedestrian was injured, and the hit-and-run car escaped."
