According to the parents' description, the child swallowed 6 magnetic beads by mistake at more than 10 a.m. that day. However, the doctor determined that the child actually swallowed 11 magnetic beads, and because of the long time, the magnetic beads had entered the intestines from the stomach.

Subsequently, the doctor decided to treat the foreign body by small colonoscopy. However, the length of the human small intestine is mostly 4 to 6 meters, and there are curves and protrusions, which brings a lot of trouble to the search for and pinching magnetic beads. In the end, after more than half an hour, all 11 magnetic beads were successfully removed.
According to the doctor, the magnetic beads are smooth, small in size, and strong in magnetism, and may compress the intestinal wall after swallowing, resulting in a series of problems in some intestines.

Doctors remind that once the child mistakenly takes or suspects taking a foreign body by mistake, parents should send them to the doctor in time. Parents should remember not to make up their own minds trying to suppress foreign bodies by eating certain foods. At the same time, it is necessary to fast and water to prepare for foreign bodies.
