Jiangsu TV reporter Li Ming said: "When you were still 'hard to find a pier', I was already surrounded by ice piers! The entire wall behind me is lined with ice piers for the Mascot of the Beijing Winter Olympics. There are a variety of plush ice piers, ornament ice piers, and even very rare limited edition ice piers. These nearly 100 ice piers are all from the collection of Zhang Wenquan, a young man in Beijing. ”

Zhang Wenquan said: "Ice Pier was released in 2019, and I have collected it little by little since it was listed. My favorite is the space astronaut version of the ice pier, which I think is particularly cutely designed. You see he's gone with the ice shell, but he's wearing astronaut clothes. Now we have exactly three astronauts in space, which I think is very appropriate. I have an ice pier signed by our speed skating Winter Olympic champion Yang Yang. Behind the current 'one pier is hard to find', I think it is everyone's enthusiasm and help for the Beijing Winter Olympics. ”

It is understood that Zhang Wenquan's Olympic complex began with the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games. At that time, Zhang Wenquan was still a college student. During the Olympic Games, he worked as a results printing and distribution assistant at the Wukesong Baseball Stadium. He said that every day, the speed of the sprint is used to complete the distribution of athletes' achievements. At that time, Xiao Zhang was fascinated by the Olympic collection. After work, he struggled to save money. A total of hundreds of thousands of yuan was spent to build a private Olympic museum.

Zhang Wenquan said: "At the beginning, I collected some souvenirs that I liked, and I collected some badges, flags, and mascots. I prefer the design of various torches, and the oldest torch I collected was the torch of the 1936 Olympic Games in Berlin, Germany. Currently, I have a collection of torches from the Beijing 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games. ”

Beijing has become the world's first "city of double Olympics". In fact, China has also hosted an Olympic Games , the 2014 Nanjing Youth Olympic Games. In Zhang Wenquan's wonderful world, the reporter also found an old friend - the Mascot of the Youth Olympic Games, "Silicon".

In the 14 years from 2008 to 2022, Zhang Wenquan grew from an Olympic collector to a disseminator of the Olympic spirit. As a city volunteer for the Beijing Winter Olympics, he exhibited his Olympic collections for free to spread Olympic culture. He also actively participated in various Olympic promotion activities to cheer for the Winter Olympics.
