According to the Notice of the Beijing Municipal People's Government on Temporary Traffic Management Measures During the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games and the Notice on Matters Related to the Establishment of Olympic Lanes in Beijing During the 2022 Winter Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games issued by the Municipal Public Security Traffic Management Department, the special lanes for the Winter Paralympic Games will be opened from February 26 to March 16, covering 29 roads and 196.7 kilometers. The Circular stipulates that during the opening of the Olympic lane, only the following three types of vehicles are allowed to pass in the Olympic lane. The first is the vehicles holding special Olympic certificates, including: passenger vehicles that can pass the Olympic special lane according to the authority indicated on the vehicle certificate; vehicles transporting luggage, equipment and equipment for members of the Olympic family; communications, electricity, doping testing, medical rescue, and emergency rescue vehicles that perform the operation guarantee of the venue; satellite broadcast vehicles that undertake the task of broadcasting the games; and logistics, catering, waste removal and other freight vehicles with an approved total mass of less than 4.5 tons (not included). The second is that vehicles holding open (closed) curtain and their rehearsal vehicle permits can pass on the day of the event; the third is police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, and engineering ambulances performing emergency tasks.
