IPv6 has many advantages over IPv4. First, IPv6 is more secure, supporting Internet Security Protocol (IPsec) by default, while IPv4 is optional and some are also paid to support it. Secondly, IPv6 simplifies network configuration, and the entire process of communication is simpler to build, the cost is lower, and the failure is better troubleshooting.
However, IPv6 also has some inconveniences, or in the current process of IPv4 to IPv6, some programs are not enough to adapt. As far as remote control is concerned, some programs still retain IPv4 addresses for remote control, and they do not support IPv6 addresses enough.

At present, only a few places such as Hunan Unicom and Guangxi Telecom have restricted new ordinary users from obtaining IPv4 public network addresses, and other places will certainly follow up on this measure.
