The notice clearly stipulates that dynamic public IP services will no longer be provided to ordinary Internet customers with packages of 399 yuan and below, and some packages with 299 yuan and lower prices can only configure dynamic private IP addresses. For customers with packages of 399 yuan and above, they can still add money to configure public IP addresses, the charging standard is 100 yuan / month, and there is no discount.
For those who have already configured dynamic public IP addresses, they will also be affected by relevant policy adjustments from this year. In this way, ordinary broadband users want to have a good Internet access, they can only obediently add money or transfer the network. Now that IPv4 resources are depleted, it means that dynamic IP resources are also decreasing.
IPv4 was not designed to take into account the explosive development of the network, a total of only 4.3 billion addresses, it is impossible to let every computer be assigned to an IPv4 public address, and even fewer ordinary users can use the public network. In fact, most people use private IP, the private network is equivalent to a large local area network, the user is only a member of the local area network, ordinary Internet access is not a problem, but when using NAS to assume small servers and other scenarios, the private network experience is much worse than the public network.
At present, IPv6 is the future trend, the number of addresses of this protocol can be said to be close to infinity, the available resources are much more than IPv4, from the perspective of broadband tariffs alone, it will certainly not be more expensive than the latter, but now many remote control programs have weak compatibility with IPv6, and the address of IPv6 is much longer than IPv4, and manual input is much more troublesome.
