According to a report by Fujian Daily on February 10, the mural of the truce signed by IOC President Bach is filled with the warmth of the Chinese New Year; on the nine towering columns on the northwest side of the "Ice Ribbon" of the National Speed Skating Hall, pieces of "snowflakes" dance with the wind; inside the "Ice Ribbon", behind a red samurai, more than a hundred "ribbons" are shining; in the Shougang Park, under the feet of the futuristic skier sculpture, the engine spews out "steam"...

With the grand opening of the Beijing Winter Olympic Games, the public artworks of the Beijing Winter Olympic and Paralympic Games full of scientific and technological elements and new ingenuity were also unveiled, attracting the attention of everyone.

It is understood that all public art works of the Beijing Winter Olympics and Winter Paralympic Games are produced by shengjiang group in Fujian. After the global solicitation of ideas and design plans for these works was completed, the Beijing Winter Olympic Organizing Committee began to look for production units across the country. After layers of selection, Xiamen Shengjiang Group Co., Ltd., which has decades of experience in urban cultural planning and design and sculpture art creation, finally obtained the qualification.

"These works of art are from the world's top artists, reflecting the highest level of sculpture art and cutting-edge wind direction, many of which have broken through the framework of traditional sculpture art, have the attributes of postmodern high-tech installation art, difficult to produce, high technology content, strict acceptance standards." Chen Jianjun, chairman of Shengjiang Group, said that they organized a professional team to complete the production with excellence to ensure that every piece of art bloomed brilliantly.

For example, the work "Red Toughness", which is displayed in the "Ice Ribbon", is designed with more than 100 luminous "ribbons" of more than 10 meters long. In order to reflect the luminous effect that the creators wanted, more than 150 workers drilled a total of 420,000 small holes, and if a hole was not drilled well, it needed to be reworked. There are more than 1,000 components of the movable installation artwork "Snow Dance", all of which are forged, polished and polished by hand. The work "No.3 Snowboarder from another Parallel Universe" placed in Shougang Park has hundreds of foot components alone. At the entrance of the sunken square of Beijing Winter Olympic Village, the sculpture "All the Way to the Scenery and the Rhythm of Life" constantly rotates and maps in all directions, relying on a transmission facility of more than 1 meter high, waterproof and dustproof hidden under the base.

"Sculpture is the epitome of culture, and the landing of every public artwork of the Winter Olympics vividly and three-dimensionally shows the craftsman spirit of China and Fujian to the world." Chen Jianjun said.
