A 90-year-old man, after the death of his wife Meitang, worked tirelessly every day and hand-painted 18 albums.
It recounts the nearly sixty years from the time he and Meitang first met to each other, and is titled "Pingru Meitang: The Story of the Two of Us".
Every stroke and painting is a love for Meitang's fist, and it is also a deep miss for her.
We cannot influence people's lives and deaths, but we can let our thoughts continue, and there is no deepest feeling in the world.
We are always pursuing love and exploring the truth of love, and the story of Rao Pingru and Mao Meitang is the best answer.
A good marriage is hidden in a little bit of understanding
Some love happens quietly and silently, but the love is as deep as the sea.
That year, Rao Pingru was 11 years old, and 8-year-old Mao Meitang came to his home with his family.
The two children had a lot of fun in the Rao family compound.
After that, there was no contact.
Unexpectedly, more than ten years passed, under the arrangement of the parents of both sides, he met again, Ping Ru grew into a handsome guy, and Mei Tang also came out of the sky.
A subtle affection grew in the hearts of the two, and PingRu plucked up the courage to sing a love song to Meitang in the park.
Two years later, they got married and began a 60-year marriage.
From the flourishing of their prosperity to their old age, their married life is getting sweeter and sweeter, relying on the word "understanding".
During the war years, in order to make a living, PingRu took Meitang through many places, worked as an employee in Guizhou, found a way out in Xuzhou, opened a noodle shop, and sold peppers, all of which ended in failure.

In his old age, Meitang made some unreasonable demands, and he sincerely accepted Meitang, not talking about reason, but only paying the truth.
In this world, nothing good can be achieved for free, including a happy marriage.
Life is really hard, if you don't have the understanding of pushing yourself and others, I am afraid it will be difficult to resist trivial life.
As Chai Jing said:

There is an old Chinese saying: "Different Ways do not conspire with each other, and different aspirations do not make friends."

One reason Why Pingru and Meitang have been in love for 60 years is that they have the same understanding of the world.
When in love, they have a nearly unanimous view of music and talk about literature together.
They loved to travel, and after getting married, they went to Liuzhou, Guizhou, Xuzhou together...
The most valuable thing is that they have the same optimistic attitude in the face of life's accidents.
In 1949, they lived in Anshun, when they lived in a hexagonal pavilion on the second floor, the pavilion was about 20 or 30 squares, with windows on all six sides, no doors, and a movable cover with a length of 780 centimeters in the corner of the ground, with a ladder under it.
When people come up, they are covered with a cover, just like the organ on the stage to perform a martial arts drama. Only one wooden bed was placed in the pavilion, and other furniture was available.
To make matters worse, whenever the room with windows on all sides was windy and rainy, the windows shook violently, making the wind stronger.
As ordinary people, living in such an environment is afraid to complain one after another, but they especially like this house that leaks everywhere.
Mei Tang likened this scene to "the mountain rain wants to come and the wind fills the building".
For her, it's not a combination of wind and rain, but a wild mountain fun.
Pingru, on the other hand, called this room the "Wonderful Room."
Whenever the moonlight is like water at night, Pingru and Meitang will definitely open the window to sleep.
When the light pours out, they will sing a song "Quiet Night Thoughts" in response to the scene, adding a little romance to the difficult and exhausting days.
Even if the days are chicken feathers, they can live happily.
We often say that the three views are consistent in order to stay tired for a long time, and in married life, the three views are particularly important.
If the three views do not coincide, there will be friction in the little things in life.
Over time, there will be mutual resentment, let alone a lifetime of companionship.
There is a question on Zhihu: "How terrible is a marriage with three different views?" ”

Thinking about it on the other hand, if Pingru and Meitang often disagree, how could they have loved each other for 60 years?
Those marriages that start well and end well have two people with the same three views.
Only a marriage in the same boat can sail to the end
In the 1950s, the Pingru family was forced to separate, and this point was 22 years.
After watching the story of "husband and wife are originally birds in the same forest, and the great trouble is about to fly separately", I feel that "the couple who share the hardships" is particularly touching.
No matter how difficult the situation is, and no matter how chaotic the years are, Pingru and Meitang have never given up.
Shortly after Ping Ru left Shanghai for re-education through labor, the personnel department of Meitang's unit talked to her and asked her to draw a clear line with Rao Pingru.
And Mei Tang said:
"If you had an affair, I would have divorced you a long time ago... But you are not a traitor, not corrupt, not a pickpocket, you are nothing, why should I divorce you? ”
She could have chosen to be at peace and like drawing a line and living a comfortable life, but she refused.
This refusal, life fell into a new predicament, life was particularly difficult, in order to make ends meet, she sold her dowry, leaving nothing behind.
What is even more distressing is that she is a woman, in order to give her children a better life, she has to go to the cement factory to carry cement, a bag weighs more than fifty pounds, which is for many years.
Whether a person loves you or not, there are many manifestations.
But when you are in a low valley, standing with you and holding up your home is undoubtedly the most affectionate one.
Fortunately, this affection is not only remembered in the heart, but also in action.
The life of re-education through labor is not good, and even a little miserable, but Ping Ru thinks of his wife and children in Shanghai, but he is full of motivation and expectations.
Pingru works in the automobile factory every day and earns very little money, but he saves money and sends all the money home.
In order to save money, he invented the methods of "lead wire, tire repair shoes", "one sock more use", "smart wear Lenin clothes", etc.; the most difficult time was that he used the 6 cent meal ticket for 3 days.
Now there is a popular saying on the Internet: "Good love is a two-way rush." ”
Indeed, you know how to respond to my enthusiasm, I know how to give affection, and when life is difficult, you and I have never given up your love for each other, why not go to the best?
The big hand of fate will make the Pingru family a mess, but their feelings are becoming more and more intense and tenacious in the midst of suffering.
How bitter life is, how deeply they love.
We always say that people are thin-hearted, but in Pingru and Meitang, we see the deepest emotions in the world.
This rock-solid emotion has helped them through 22 years of long-distance time.
Our lives are more accidents, and if there is no sincerity of mutual support, we would have parted ways a long time ago.
Therefore, any marriage that is full of bubbles has walked hand in hand through one bumpy road after another.

Pingru and Meitang's 60-year-long happy marriage tells us:
