Author/Xu Jianwei

.

I remember my childhood

View of Pudong from Puxi

Between here and there

it is a ferry boat that connects them

Remember my childhood

Look up at the tall buildings from the alleys

Between old and modern

It is an expectation to connect them

Remember my teenage

Overlooking the city from a tall building

Between dreams and prosperity

It's a reform that connects them

Now I am an adult

Looking at the world from China

Between East and West

It's a world expo that connects them

Two

photo album

——The third prize of the 4th Shanghai Citizens' Poetry Creation Competition in 2010

A sea breeze came from far away

Its breath is a call to openness

I smelled the blue ocean

A World Expo came from the other side of the earth

It will become a feast for human civilization

I hear the tune of harmony praise

Please don't doubt your eyes full of surprise

The future album will definitely contain the glory of 2010

That cover shone with Chinese light

The album recorded the pomp and circumstance of the Expo

Gently flip open its hand

You will feel the heartbeat of the nation

It was as if spring thunder was roaring

It's like the terrifying waves of the Pacific Ocean

The album will glow like the sun

I believe you will be able to see it with pride

The color of the Crown of the East is like the morning sun of hope

It illuminated Pudong and illuminated Shanghai

Show the world our brilliant future

Declare the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation

The album will overflow with waves that promote communication

I believe you will be happy to see it

Hypertherm summoned five continents and four oceans to assemble here

Different skin tones, but the same expression

A bright smile reflects this fertile land of harmony

Guests from all over the world leave good memories

The album will show a blueprint for common prosperity

I believe you will be able to see clearly

Every resident of the global village rejects the prejudices of the past

Understanding through communication, gathering and cooperating

A new chapter in which humanity joins hands

Writing together makes life better

The feelings of the Pearl of the Orient will flow out of the album

I believe you will be able to see it with pride

The weather on both sides of the Mother River is constantly changing

That dazzling fireworks showcased the success of the opening ceremony

That brilliant neon blooms the excitement of the Expo

2010 is undoubtedly an unforgettable vintage

Ripples have risen above the long river of history

No matter how thick the fog was, it could not obscure the miracle of the divine land

No amount of rain can extinguish the flames that illuminate the world

In a future photo album, you will be able to see it

An irreplaceable engine in Shanghai

The Expo is an incomparably wide outlet to the sea

The sum of Chinese dreams is the thickness of the album
