According to the Fair Trade Commission of South Korea (KFTC), Mercedes-Benz manipulates emissions test data by installing illegal software on vehicles, and according to statistics, a total of 15 models have installed related illegal software.
At the same time, Mercedes-Benz is also suspected of falsely advertising that the emissions of its vehicles between August 2013 and December 2016 met the EU Level 6 emission standards.
South Korea's Fair Trade Commission (KFTC) said that Mercedes-Benz's use of false advertising to hinder consumers from rationally buying cars is of great significance.
