Apple today quietly released the second beta update of iOS 15.4 and iPadOS 15.4 for developers, mainly updating several major functions, let's take a look.
Tap to Pay
In the second beta of iOS 15.4, Apple introduced the "Tap to Pay" feature on iPhone devices, which allows payments to be accepted via Apple Pay, contactless credit and debit cards, and other digital wallets via NFC-enabled iPhones, without the need for additional hardware, but is currently only supported in the United States.
Second, the mask face ID unlock is faster
When a user uses an iPhone device to unlock the mask face, and the iPhone is held below line of sight, the user may be prompted to "look down" to unlock your device, because mask face unlock requires identification by analyzing unique features around the human eye to unlock the device.
Third, introduce a digital ID in the wallet
Apple expects to introduce support for digital IDs and driver's licenses in the iOS 15.4 release update, and although there is no actual official move at the moment, this feature is mentioned in the PassKit code.
4. HomePod exclusive WiFi
The code for iOS 15.4 also found that Apple is adding support for dedicated WiFi networks on HomePod, allowing them to use WiFi with a web portal or additional registration steps, such as in hotels or dormitories.
Overall, mask unlocking is faster and very user-friendly, what kind of features do you expect IOS updates?
