Recently, R Star parent take-two, announced the 2021-2022 Q3 financial report, and in the three months ending December 31, Take-Two's net bookings increased by 6% to $866 million, and net revenue increased by 5% to $903 million. In the Q3 quarter, more than 5 million copies of "Vintage 5" were sold, with cumulative sales of 160 million copies, physical sales of more than $1 billion, and the total sales volume of the "GTA" series has exceeded 370 million.
"Red Dead Redemption 2" and "Red Dead Redemption Online" shipped about 43 million, and there was an increase of 4 million sales during the holiday season.
NBA 2K22 sold about 3 million copies in the Q3 quarter, with cumulative sales of more than 8 million and series sales of more than 121 million copies.
"GTA: Trilogy Remake" sold about 10 million copies, "far exceeding expectations".
It is worth mentioning that the next-generation version of "Vintage 5" will be released on March 15, 2022, and "GTA6" is currently officially announced in production.
