R Star/2K parent take-two announced that it has now reached an agreement to acquire mobile game developer Zynga for $12.7 billion. The acquisition will make T2 the largest and most diverse mobile game publisher in the gaming industry, Zynga currently has more than 183 million monthly active users, and after the acquisition, T2's mobile game business will be taken over by Zynga and continue to operate under this brand. The deal is expected to be fully completed in the first quarter of 2023, when the company's mobile game business is expected to account for 50% of the global mobile game market.

In its official submission, Take-Two has made some notes on the company's plans to work jointly with Zynga in the future, such as:
