The commemorative medal of Grandpa Zhu, a veteran of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea.

Red Net Moment, February 8 (Correspondent Tan Panpan) "I am from the 194th Division of the 65th Army of the 19th Regiment of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea. I was a scout, responsible for scouting enemy trenches, artillery positions, bunkers... I drew the information into a map and provided it to the artillery to lay out the fire points..."

At first glance, this sounds a lot like the bridge in "The Water Gate Bridge of Chosin Lake", but this statement appears off the screen - the ward of the Internal Medicine ICU of Hunan Provincial Zhizhi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital.

Speaking of his own identity and experience, Grandpa Zhu, a 91-year-old veteran of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea, had a light in his eyes and was full of excitement, completely forgetting that he was still plugged in an oxygen tube.

On the evening of February 6, 2022, Grandpa Zhu was transferred to the Internal Medicine ICU of Hunan Provincial Direct Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital due to symptoms such as unconsciousness, restlessness, difficulty breathing, cyanosis and other symptoms, according to Peng Zhujun, director of the Internal Medicine ICU, the condition of the elderly was complex and extremely unstable when he was first admitted to the hospital, and after the perfect examination, Grandpa was diagnosed with hypertension emergency, heart disease, heart failure, lung infection, renal insufficiency and many other diseases.

The expert team carried out symptomatic treatment for Grandpa such as blood pressure lowering, sedation, and anti-infection, and on the afternoon of February 7, Grandpa was smoothly transferred out of the ICU ward.

He shook the doctor's hand movingly and said, "You defend our lives, we defend the lives of the people!" ”

Peng Zhujun said, "No matter where we are, we always cherish the great love of the people, and always take pride in serving the people and loving the people; this is the people's complex that the veterans of the War to Resist US Aggression and Aid Korea have passed on to us, and it is also the feeling of a healer who we will practice for a lifetime."
