Less than 24 hours after being beaten 5-0 by Reims away from home, Bordeaux announced the dismissal of Petkovic, ending a partnership of just seven months. Last summer, Bordeaux sacked manager Gasse and hired Petkovic to coach, and the two sides were originally signed until the end of June 2024.
