Official announcement: Frick is out of class
The German Football Association officially announced the dismissal of German coach Frick. Germany have won no wins in their last five matches, one draw and four defeats, and have suffered three consecutive defeats after 1-4 Japan. According to Bild, former Bayern boss Nagelsmann is the favourite to succeed Frick.
The president of the Spanish Football Federation resigned
Spanish Football Federation President Rubiales issued an open letter announcing his resignation and resigning as UEFA vice-president. At the award ceremony for this year's Women's World Cup final, Rubiales forcibly kissed Spanish women's champion Hermoso, causing an uproar.
