The Yangtze River Delta Railway grasped the impact of snowfall in a timely manner, issued a dispatching order at 1:58 on the 7th, launched a secondary snow sweeping and de-icing emergency response, and organized speed limit operation between Feidong and Dunyitang of the Shanghai-Rong Railway, and between Anqingxi and Taihunan of the Beijing-Hong Kong High-speed Railway; follow-up will pay close attention to changes in snowfall areas, time periods and snowfall levels, and dynamically adjust the train operation plan in a timely manner to ensure the safety of passenger travel. Relevant stations compile the "Turnout Snow Sweeping Guarantee Division Map" in advance, clarify the snow sweeping area guarantee personnel, contact information, etc., and timely implement the snow sweeping and smooth plan in the station area.

In southern Anhui, in view of the heavy snowfall in Guannaipu, the Wuhu Railway Section promptly organized 11 snow sweeping commandos composed of more than 120 party members at Stations in Huangshan North and Wuhu to carry out snow sweeping and de-icing at the scene. Up to now, more than 700 snowplows have been dispatched and more than 2,100 grass mats have been laid. Wuhu East Marshalling Station took the snow as the order, jointly with the electric power, public works, power supply and other departments to set up 20 station snow sweeping commando teams, organized more than 120 people to brave the cold wind and snow to stick to the snow sweeping position, and made every effort to clear the snow on the line and turnout, ensuring that the station 373 paid turnouts operated well.

In the face of the "snow" test, the Anqing West Station of the Beijing-Hong Kong High-speed Railway dispatched 15 turnout sweepers and 23 passenger snow sweepers, laid 175 meters of anti-slip mats, and cleaned the 11 groups of turnouts in the station and the 2 groups of turnouts of the Longshan Line, so that the snow did not stop and swept. As of 11:00 on the 7th, 417 cadres and workers on duty carried out snow sweeping and ice removal operations on 115 stations and 675 groups of turnouts, which effectively guaranteed the smooth flow of the line. In the early stage of snowfall, the Hefei power supply section organized personnel to inspect and add power supply equipment in the high-speed rail section and key sections at the first time, observed the icing of the line, installed snow chains on emergency vehicles, and dispatched more than 600 person-times, covering more than 1,000 kilometers of lines in the jurisdictional section.

In northern Anhui, Fuyang North Railway Station dispatched 311 snow sweepers to clean the snow and ice in the front passage of the station, the overpass and the edge of the platform, lay 58 rolls of anti-skid mats at the entrance and tunnel, and arrange staff to guide the entrance and exit of the station, the tunnel, the overpass and other places. The Huaibei depot quickly assembled 18 emergency commandos, and more than 300 cadres and workers carried more than 500 grass mats, 200 kilograms of antifreeze salt, and 350 kilograms of antifreeze to the front line, promptly cleared the snow in key parts such as platforms and turnouts, laid anti-slip grass mats on the sidewalks, and reminded passengers to pay attention to safety and prevent slippage and injury through radio propaganda and placing notice boards.

Zhang Dan, foreman of the Xiaoxihe Maintenance Work Area of the Bengbu Engineering Section, led 3 workers to carry snow removal tools to brave the wind and snow to clear snow and ice in the station turnout area. The narrowest part of the turnout is only 10 mm wide and the broom cannot be reached. Zhang Dan knelt on one knee in the snow, and used a small shovel with his bare hands to pull the snow out of the cracks little by little, ensuring that the 7 sets of turnouts in the south of the station were working normally, and Zhang Dan and his co-workers held out in the wind and snow for more than 4 hours.

In Jiangsu, Nanjing, Nanjing South Railway Station is expected to send 80,000 passengers on the 7th, in order to cope with the snowfall, the station quickly launched a secondary snow sweeping and de-icing plan, arranged 110 snow sweepers to carry shovels, snow melting agents, blowers and other utensils on duty on the snow sweeping post, laid 260 grass mats in the wind and snow, as of now the station trains are running normally.

Yangzhou Station dispatched 21 people to sweep snow and de-icing in time, organize the safe boarding and landing of passengers on the platform, and ensure that passengers can travel smoothly in rain and snow weather. The Nanjing power supply section encrypts the number of inspections of the power supply equipment in the snow, conducts special inspections of the operating state of the outdoor transformer, and confirms that the values such as voltage, current, oil level, and oil temperature are within the normal operating range. The Nanjing EMU section organized the party and regiment member commandos to lay anti-slip grass mats on the station yard, clear the snow on the turnouts of the station yard, de-icing the EMUs, and strengthen the inspection of the key components of the EMUs such as the walking department and the high-voltage power supply department to ensure the safety of the EMUs.

As of 13:00 on the 7th, all railway lines in the Yangtze River Delta region remained safe and smooth, passenger travel was not greatly affected, and there was no passenger stranding at stations in Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and other places.
