At dinner, my mother distributed the money for the press, and I remember that it was the four corners, wrapped in red paper. I used it all to buy fireworks. After Chinese New Year's Eve meal, there was also a funny play. This is called "rough paper waging". "Wow" is the ass. One person takes a piece of rough paper and slaps the other's mouth. This means that your mouth is an ass, and the ominous things you have said in the past year, such as "to die" or the like, are equivalent to farts. But people don't want to be picked up and try to escape. However, the person who picks it up is very naughty, unexpected, sudden, even if you are extremely careful, you will always be picked. Sometimes his men went out the front door. People don't watch out for him. Did you know that he went around in a circle, quietly came in through the back door, and finally was swept away? At this time, laughter and shouting filled the hall. The air of joy in the New Year is even thicker.
There are people carrying lanterns on the street to ask for bills. Until dawn, there were still people running around with lanterns. This lantern is a must-have. Lifting a lantern means that it is still a big Chinese New Year's Eve, and you can collect debts; if you don't mention the lantern, it is New Year's Day, and the debtor can slap you a few times and ask you to keep him in a good situation for three years. Because debt collection on the first day of the Chinese New Year is taboo. But at this time, my family had already settled the bill, closed the shop, and was lighting incense candles to greet the Bodhisattva. At this time, it is common to eat the stove rounds. As usual, his mother gave him ten silver horns and gave him "green fruit tea in the New Year." He said goodbye and went back, and we packed up and slept. But after less than two hours of sleep, I had to get up again, and the country guests who had paid their respects had already arrived.
On the morning of the first day of the New Year, it is busy entertaining new year visitors. The streets are crowded with peasants in new clothes, men, women and children, bustling, eating and selling, going to taverns, buying flower paper (that is, New Year paintings), watching tricks, crowding everywhere.
Since the second year of junior high school, relatives and friends in the town have come and gone to visit the New Year. My father wore a red tassel hat and a coat and went out with his shift. At the same time, there are also people wearing dresses who come to my house to pay respects to the New Year. If not, leave a red sheet. The fourth day of the first lunar month is the biggest festival of the New Year, because this night receives the god of wealth. Other actions, such as sending stoves, New Year's Day, etc., vary in size, simple, and sumptuous, all according to the existence of the family. The unique god of wealth, the family is solemn, and the poorer the home, the more decent the pomp. Probably they thought: Worship God and be abundant, and they can invite God's grace and make them rich in the future.
After the fifth day of the first year, the New Year's day is basically over. But the New Year's greetings, eating New Year's wine, and paying back the rewards are also very lively. There are a lot of New Year dishes in the kitchen, guests come and move out. But by the middle of the first month, I was almost done eating. So there is a saying: Pray to the first half of the new year, rotten stir-fried greens. "My father didn't like meat, he liked to be vegetarian, and we all looked at him like that. So at home, the big Chinese New Year's Eve burned a big vat of radish shredded oil tofu, the oil is very heavy, the taste is very good. Serving a bowl at each meal and heating it in a pot is the best meal. I still can't forget this good taste. But to make the family burn up, it is not as good as childhood, strange!
The fifteenth day of the first month is a Lantern Festival in ancient times, but the matter of racing lanterns has long been abolished, and only some rabbit lamps, butterfly lamps, etc. are sold in the market. On the twentieth day, the inspector of the dye came down, the shops opened their doors as usual, and the school also opened. The New Year's notes are all over.
