Be a good "atmosphere group" in the Winter Olympic Games (Winter Olympics have me)

These days, I met my journalist friends at the National Speed Skating Hall "Ice Ribbon", and the most common sentence I heard was: We are meeting again!

At last year's Tokyo Olympics, I was responsible for broadcasting in Both Japanese and English at the volleyball arena. There was no audience at that scene, in order to adjust the atmosphere and cheer for the Chinese women's volleyball team, I deliberately added Chinese songs such as "Little Apple" and "Calories" to the playlist of the live background music. Unexpectedly, these familiar melodies have aroused great concern from domestic netizens, and I have also "become popular".

During the Beijing Winter Olympics, I had a new assignment. There are more than 20 people in the "Ice Ribbon" sports display team, as the deputy manager of the team, how to coordinate the various types of work during the game, and how to control the sound and photoelectric effects on the spot, I am responsible. From the role of the host to the "director", the responsibility is on my shoulders, which is both a pressure and a motivation for me.

There are spectators in this arena, how to be a good "atmosphere group", not only to fully mobilize everyone's emotions, but also to create a good competition atmosphere for athletes from all over the world, we have thought of a lot of ideas. Thousands of Chinese and foreign songs are stored in the background music library of the scene, which are not only carefully selected according to different athletes, but also specially broadcast in festivals such as the Lantern Festival.

On the other hand, in addition to the good music in the "ice ribbon", it also adds light shows and projection shows. Before the athletes appear or between races, the 48 projectors set up on the spot will project color projections with Chinese elements on the track, such as the high-speed train that is speeding past.

The most fun thing is the live interaction. Because of the epidemic prevention requirements, everyone wears masks. When the live camera captures the audience in the stands, everyone will use body language to express joy - either simulating "drumming" or wearing a "tiger head", everyone performing on the big screen, and enjoying the joy of integration into the game with the athletes.

In order to ensure that the sports showcase was foolproof, the entire team conducted more than a dozen drills before the game, and each link was refined. During the Beijing Winter Olympics, the "ice ribbon" basically had competitions every day, and everyone often had to fight for eight or nine hours continuously. Although the work is hard, we feel that it is worth paying no more to see the outstanding performance of the athletes and the input of the audience.

What excites me even more is that my relationship with the Olympics has been going on. At the 2008 Beijing Olympics, I was the host of a beach volleyball match. After 14 years, I have stood in the position of serving the Beijing Winter Olympics - catching up with two Olympic Games on my doorstep, and being able to participate in them and contribute my own strength, which is the luck of my life.
