High-power fast charging car charging has always been a favorite car charging style of consumers, supporting high-power output car charging, not only can support PPS fast charging mobile phone high-speed charging, but also in the car for the laptop charging, practicality is very good. Compared with the traditional 18-20W pressure relief car charger, there are a wider range of use scenarios.

The traditional high-power car charging, the internal use of independent buck-boost controller and protocol chip collocation, the circuit is complex and the cost is high, resulting in the final car charging product price is also higher, affecting the consumer's willingness to buy. The INJI CORE IP6559 supports 3.6-31V input voltage, which meets the input voltage range of 12 to 24V for car charging, and the output supports 3.3-21V voltage. Support PD3.0 PPS, QC2.0/3.0, Huawei FCP/SCP, Samsung AFC, VOOC and other fast charging protocols to meet the needs of mainstream mobile phone fast charging.

IP6559 built-in line loss compensation, built-in 14bit ADC, support the acquisition of input and output voltage and current parameters, support digital tube display or sent to the external microcontroller to display charging power and other parameters, to meet the increasingly long-term personalized design. The chip supports A+C dual-port output, which can realize single-port fast charging and better compatibility.

IP6559 high degree of integration, rich in functions, only one inductor with buck-boost switch tube, you can achieve 100W buck-boost fast charging scheme design. The chip has built-in overtemperature protection function and board-level NTC temperature detection, which can intelligently adjust the output power according to temperature changes to meet stringent temperature requirements.

The figure shows the application circuit diagram of INJIxin IP6559, thanks to the ip6559 internal integrated buck-boost controller and protocol chip, only one chip with external MOS and inductor can complete the complete step-up and down voltage conversion, support 100W fast charge output, to meet 4-6 strings of outdoor power supply and fast charge car charging applications.

IP6559 adopts QFN7*7-48 package, which can effectively reduce the PCB area and meet the applications of outdoor power supply, fast charging car charging and fast charging adapter compared with the scheme of synchronous buck-boost controller and protocol chip. The high-integration solution is streamlined to effectively avoid the impact of chip out-of-stock on production and ensure product delivery.
