In Qamdo, Tibet in February, snowflakes are flying, but the interior is warm and melting. Looking at the longevity faces of his teammates, in a sound of birthday wishes, Zeng Xiaomei, a music teacher at Karo No. 2 Middle School, could not help but burst into tears. She did not expect that she would usher in her 40th birthday in the aid of Tibet and support for education!

A group of 20 Fujian teachers aiding Tibet set off from the coast of the East China Sea just after the Spring Festival, bringing the breath of spring to the snowy plateau at an altitude of more than 3,000 meters. Zeng Xiaomei's aid to Tibet has expired, and the elderly in Quanzhou need to serve, and the son who is waiting for the college entrance examination needs to be accompanied. Despite this, she chose to stay because of the teaching needs here. Her life plan was disrupted, but she didn't care, her work was so full that she didn't have time to miss home, forgot the constant cold when she first entered Tibet, and forgot the all-night sleeplessness when she missed her relatives.

They all say that she is becoming more and more like the locals, which is a compliment to her high level of integration. The son couldn't help but "get jealous" during the video call: "No wonder you can't come back, it turns out that you have a group of children in Tibet!"

There was a group of Tibetan children who surrounded her, calling her teacher and calling her sister.

She is responsible for music lessons in 12 classes. Children can sing and dance, and sing Chinese songs is no problem, but the pronunciation is not accurate. She used her spare time to correct them word for word. The Chinese language spoken by the children and the Chinese characters written by the children, even if they were simple, were so beautiful in her eyes, and together with the smiling faces in front of her, they became the best comfort when they were lonely and lonely.

Since Zeng Xiaomei entered Tibet, her vision and realm have been improving. As an outstanding cadre talent in Qamdo, she still said that there is a gap with her brothers and sisters in the team: Teacher Liu Si, a 57-year-old "national advanced individual in poverty alleviation" who has aided Tibet twice, still playfully said that she is still young and can contribute to the education cause of Qamdo, so what reason do you have not to continue to struggle? A dream rose in her heart, which was also the dream she and her teammates shared, that is, to use education to make the children who were in the flower season bloom and fragrant.

The child's eyes are the most innocent and simple. Through the VR equipment donated by the Fujian Provincial Tibet Aid Task Force, they opened their eyes and saw beautiful scenery, magical space, and touching red education base... The distant scenery seems to be within reach at this moment, making the children can't help but cheer: "Science and technology are really amazing, I must study hard!" The children's laughter made Zeng Xiaomei believe that with the help of volunteer teachers, the children's lives must be better! The snowy plateau will definitely be better!

Which of the Tibetan aid team members' skin is not sunburned red and black? Which lips have not been chapped? In the face of the call of duty, this group of post-80s has begun a new round of play.

Wu Wenbiao, a 33-year-old deputy director of the Bianba County Housing and Construction Bureau, went to the countryside to encounter a snowslide in front of him, but his face did not change, and he was hospitalized in Fujian and Tibet without doing anything, but he cried a lot at the farewell party at the end of the aid to Tibet. Back in the dormitory, he was still struggling to extricate himself from the parting, and sent a text message to his wife: "There is no word in the depths of love, only tears." The wife thousands of miles away replied sarcastically: "Not so exaggerated, why didn't you cry when you separated from me?" ”

Seeing his story of aiding Tibet on the news, the 100-year-old grandfather said that it was the greatest glory in the history of the family, and the 5-year-old also regarded his father as a hero. He said to his son more than once: "When you grow up, you have the ability to help hide, see if the house your father built back then is good?" ”

The wife quipped, "Just those toilets you built?" ”

After Wu Wenbiao entered Tibet, he saw the local dry toilet, and his heart was touched, and he took the initiative to ask Miao to build a modern toilet. He said: "If you can't do something earth-shattering, start small." Repairing a toilet and giving the people a more comfortable place is also a practical thing. ”

What is convenient is not a small thing? The two most frequently used demonstration public toilets in Bianba County are made by young people.

When Wu Wenbiao was in elementary school, he always listened to the villagers praise a local cadre who went to help Tibet, and his young soul gave birth to the wish of "growing up and helping Tibet". The white snowy mountains, the clear blue sky, and the simple local people have been deeply imprinted in his heart since then. He met a more beautiful self in Tibet, and after returning to Fujian, he continued to contribute to the development of Tibet with deep affection. It has become a tradition for a batch of cadres aiding Tibet to "have no residual feelings," and a batch of cadres aiding Tibet have continued to move forward.

Three

On July 15, 2019, when the ninth batch of Fujian Province's Tibet Aid Task Force set off from Fuzhou, the leader of the team, Wei Dong, encouraged everyone: "The plateau lacks oxygen without lack of spirit, and the altitude is higher and higher." "From landing in Nyingchi to changing to Qamdo, the Fujian Provincial Tibet Aid Task Force has taken one step at a time, struck thousands of blows and regained its strength, and strived to create a model of poverty alleviation cooperation and counterpart support in the east and west."

The Tibet aid team members, who originally had no connection with the snowy mountains and plateaus in their lives, were full of enthusiasm and yearning for Tibet, but they were tested by the successive altitude sickness.

Pan Yixie, who was born in 1983, has long planted a seed of aid to Tibet in his heart. After many years, the seeds finally sprouted, and Pan Yi assisted Tibet in realizing his dream. Unexpectedly, as soon as he landed at Bunda Airport at an altitude of more than 4,000 meters, he was top-heavy and like stepping on cotton. Although he did not fall head-on like some of his companions, various symptoms did not easily spare him.

However, after all, with the mission, the heavy sense of responsibility compacted the soft steps, and the inertia of striving forward pushed everyone to participate in the relevant meetings the next day, followed by field visits, and each working group quickly set up camp.

In less than half a month, the team leader took the team members of the relevant departments down to the four counties of Basu, Zuogong, Bianba and Luolong to investigate, and traveled thousands of kilometers a week. During the day, we investigate, inspect projects, supervise progress, and talk at night to plan ideas. The high mountains and deep valleys, Qamdo let this group of newcomers know what is thrilling: the sheep's intestines are densely covered with deep ravines, towering cliffs, and below them are often bottomless gushing rivers, in case of failure, the consequences are unimaginable.

In such a non-stop investigation, everyone gradually saw the steepness and magnificence of the mountains and rivers in Tibetan areas, and understood the difficulties and challenges of Qamdo's economy and society. Pan Yixie later recalled the investigation, full of emotion: "All the way down the road, my heart was full of shock at the great power of nature's creation, and I also strengthened my belief in dedication to this magical land." ”

Come, like grass and Gesang flowers, you must take root in the edge of the snow. Every day of Tibet's life will not be empty, and there will not be a day of regret in the future... With such a belief, the fighting spirit of youth dared to compete with the snowy mountain.

In 2020, the Zuogong Working Group of the Ninth Batch of Tibet Aid Task Force of Fujian Province won the "Tibet Youth May Fourth Medal".

What the masses lack the most, they will go all out to do what they want. Health care is one of the biggest shortcomings in Qamdo at present, Fujian invested 380 million yuan in Tibet to build a number of major projects such as the new hospital of Changdu Maternal and Child Health Hospital and the Changdu Cd-operative Center for Disease Control and Prevention - it is not enough, and then bring a group of young medical personnel from Fujian to help Qamdo "health poverty alleviation".

In April 2020, medical staff drove 400 to 500 kilometers to Bianba County to carry out free clinics in the countryside and "teachers and apprentices" activities. During the free clinic, they suddenly encountered 22-year-old Dormaraga who had difficulty in giving birth, and if they did not deliver the baby by caesarean section in time, it would endanger the mother and baby. The maternal family insists on transferring to Changdu City, but at least eight or nine hours of driving along the way, coupled with the bumpy road, who dares to guarantee that there will be no accidents?

Liu Dabin, the director of the women's and children's hospital, took the doctor to do the work, and the family finally agreed to carry out the caesarean section on the spot. An hour later, the baby was born smoothly and the mother and baby were safe. The mother's family offered a white Hada and expressed their true feelings through song: "Meeting you is my fate." ”

The incidence of hand and foot deformities in Qamdo is high. Children have low self-esteem, and the treatment fee also makes many families helpless. The Tibet Aid Team has set up a rescue and treatment team to coordinate high-quality medical resources in Fujian, Beijing, Shanghai and other places, and has successfully treated 80 children, the youngest patient is only 8 months. Seeing the postoperative children snuggled in the arms of their mothers and smiling sweetly, seeing that the children who used to hide their hands in their sleeves could finally "show their hands" generously, thinking that the fate of them and their families would be changed in the future, Liu Dabin's joy had not yet had time to appear on his face, and he almost fell to the ground - he was too tired to rotate!

What was the original intention of aiding Tibet? The 32-year-old Lin Quanbin did not think about it at first. In the past year, he has heard that the families who have escaped from stubborn diseases have become full of laughter, witnessed the joy of the children who took online classes on the top of the snow mountain to see the new world, and the new villages and new homes, the snowy waterways, and he felt the vitality of this ancient land. Helping Tibetan areas make progress is precisely the original intention of the work of aiding Tibet!

He lamented: "From the beginning of the fresh curiosity, the difficult steps, to the current familiar integration, gradual adaptation, once the distant roof of the world has become within reach." It's not just the body that's changing, it's the mind that's changing. ”

It is precisely because of such a heart that he chose to continue to stay after the original one-and-a-half-year aid to Tibet. The scene of two young sons in the family holding his legs to prevent him from going out made him tearful every time he thought about it. Every time he broke free, it also strengthened his determination to live up to this trip.

Aiding Tibet is the practice of the mind and the sublimation of the soul. The years were so slow, so slow that relatives seemed to have become accustomed to their absence; the years were so quiet that they could hear the sound of their own jointing and growing.

The thousand-year leap on the roof of the world is not easy! Every cadre who works diligently in Tibet and aiding Tibet has too many stories that make people cry. They are not afraid of avalanches, dark ice, mudslides, landslides, falling rocks, and run on the plateau against the sun, moon and stars.

Did the Tibetan aid team members fall in love with this mysterious and colorful land, the vast grassland and the beautiful Gesang flowers, or were they fascinated by the enthusiastic and high-pitched pot dance and the strong and sweet barley wine and butter tea? Everyone will have their own answers and never go too far and forget why they started!

In March, another batch of 48 professional and technical personnel entered Tibet from Fujian, nearly half of them after the 80s.

A team member said: When I am old, I will often open the photo album, touch the years of aid to Tibet, and tell my grandchildren about this most beautiful experience...
