"I've been very excited to see snow since I was a child, and I have a natural affinity for ice and snow." Wan Ma Angqing said that his home is located at the foot of a snow-capped mountain in Maqin County, Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Qinghai, and after graduating from junior high school, he came to the sports school for professional training. In biathlon, coasting is the foundation and shooting is the core. In order to make the team members improve faster, Li Junye, a coach who is a shooter, exerts his own strengths and focuses on training the shooting ability of the team members. In order to conduct standardized training in professional venues, team members must go to professional tracks for training. Only Hebei Chengde, Inner Mongolia Wulanchabu, Inner Mongolia Yakeshi and other places have professional tracks in China.
Yakeshi Ski Resort is the lowest cost of the three places, and the training cost per person per day needs 330 yuan. After a month of training, a child needs at least ten thousand yuan. It generally takes 5 months to go out for training every year, and the cost of training is not low, which determines that the number of places in each training camp in the team can only be 2-4 people.
"Due to the shortage of funds, every time we selected the team members who went out to train, the best of the best, the children were also very competitive, and all the children who participated in the training team won the place in the national competition." Li Junye proudly said that in the 2020-2021 season, the members of the Qinghai Provincial Sports School won the second to fifth place in the national biathlon championships.
A dream of ice and snow like fire
